Philly ATH gets first offer

Philadelphia (PA) St Joseph Prep has catapulted into the Rivals.com No. 9 slot in the East and Honorable Mention Top 25 nationally and is being led by two-star inside linebacker/fullback Brian Tracz. At 6-foot-2 and 234 pounds, Tracz is receiving interest from several schools and has picked up his first official scholarship offer.
During the month of September Brian has received calls from Indiana, Rutgers, Minnesota, and several D-IAA schools. Although he said he is still wide open, he has narrowed his choices down to six schools.

“I am still looking at Michigan, Indiana, Notre Dame, Rutgers, Virginia, and Michigan State,” he commented. Three of these schools, in particular, top his list. What makes these schools stand out to him?
Michigan and Notre Dame both said they want to see tapes on my first three games,” Tracz commented. “Indiana has offered and wants to meet me in person.”
Brian has set up an official visit to see the Hoosiers on Dec. 13, and is also scheduled to visit Ohio State, Michigan, Notre Dame, and Virginia unofficially this fall. He camped at the Nike Camp at Penn State in May.
Although used primarily as a blocking fullback, Tracz has taken advantage of the times he has been used to rush the ball. With only ten carries on the season, he has managed to run for 105 yards and three touchdowns. He has also added 30 tackles from the linebacker slot.
Tracz is an excellent student, boasting a 3.5 GPA and a 1,010 on the SAT. He plans to major in business.
