"I visited Georgia Tech Thursday and Friday," defensive back Mike Phillips said on Monday night. "Then I went to Michigan State on Saturday and got back today."

Phillips also made an official visit to Iowa.
The 5-foot-11 and 175 pounder from Warren (Ohio) Harding helped his team to a 14-0 record before losing in the state championship game. Phillips intercepted four passes and broke up 15 others this season.
