Phillips blown away by Junior Day visit
Boaz, Ala., running back/athlete Drew Phillips has become a hit with three of most popular guys in Provo, Utah, this weekend.
The 6-foot, 185-pound Phillips visited BYU for its Junior Day on Friday and quickly built a strong relationship with highly coveted BYU commitments Jake Heaps, Ross Apo and Zac Stout.

"The visit went great," Phillips, who has offers from BYU, Wyoming, SMU and Tennessee-Martin, said.
"I met up with Jake, Ross and Zac. We become good friends really quickly. I had a great day overall. It was a lot of fun."
So much fun that he committed?
"Nope, I'm going to wait," Phillips said. "But I told coach there was a 90 percent change I will be a Cougar. But I'm going to still wait it out just to be sure.
"The coaching staff out there is amazing. They're the best coaching staff I've been around."
