Peters ready to get busy

Bassfield (Miss.) Rivals100 safety Jamal Peters has seen the offers roll in from across the country. Ole Miss, Mississippi State, Florida, Florida State, Auburn, Alabama, the list is a true who's who among college football.
Most recently Peters visited Mississippi State with teammate Josh Applewhite.

"It was like as soon as I got there the attention focused on me," Peters said. "Because me being the No. 1 player in the state all the coaches were like how are you doing."
Peters does not have any other visits scheduled but he already has a few more trips in mind.
"Mississippi State was the first one and Ole Miss is going to come up next and then Auburn," Peters said.
The plans do not end there. Peters admits there are a couple of programs he is particularly interested in visiting soon.
"I'm anxious to visit Florida State and Auburn because Mississippi State, Florida State, Auburn, and LSU are the four that are recruiting me real hard," Peters said.
Then there are a few more he has high on his list of potential visits.
"I'm going to take a visit to LSU for sure," Peters said. "I'm trying to go to Texas A&M and visit there and Georgia. I'm trying to go to all the schools who have offered me."
As he begins to eye his visits, he is trying to keep an open mind to each and every school showing interest.
"I don't really have a favorite right now," Peters said. "I'm trying to take all the visits I can and maybe in the summer I'll break it on down. But right now I'm just trying to get all the offers I can."
Peters is not ready to name his favorites, but he has noticed the amount of attention coming from Mississippi State, Florida State, Auburn, and LSU with Auburn showing the most attention right now. He also does not want to rush into a decision only to change his mind during the process.
"If I do commit to a school I want to stay committed to the school," Peters said.
While he does not name his favorites, he does have an idea about what he is looking for in a potential college home.
"First I take education very serious so when I go up there I'm going to look how their education is first and then football," Peters said. "I've been going on the computer and looking at the depth chart and seeing how I would position myself."
