Peters impressed with Big Ten visit

Louisville (Ky.) Central defensive lineman Corey Peters, the No. 3 prospect in the state of Kentucky in the Rivals.com player rankings, is back from his official visit to Ohio State.
"I just got back a little bit ago," Peters said. "It went well. I enjoyed myself."

Peters said there were a number of attractive things about Ohio State.
"It's a football place," he said. "I liked that. I liked the coaches. I liked coach Tressel a lot. It was just something about Ohio State I liked a lot."
Peters has made official visits to Ohio State, Louisville, Kentucky, and Auburn. He had previously said that Kentucky and Auburn were his favorites.
"I would say Ohio State is up there with Kentucky and Auburn now," Peters said.
Peters is drawing plenty of interest from the head coaches at the schools he is considering.
"Coach Tressel comes down Thursday," Peters said. Coach Carr comes Wednesday. Coach Tuberville came today. Coach Petrino comes here Thursday night."
Peters plans to visit Michigan Jan. 28 then wait till the end before announcing a decision.
"I'll announce on signing day," he said.
The 6-foot-3 and 294-pound Peters led his team in tackles and sacks during his senior season. He is the the No. 24 defensive tackle prospect in the Rivals.com player rankings. Peters has scholarship offers from all five schools on his list.
