Peterman makes a decision

Three-star cornerback Dale Peterman made his pledge last night. The 5-foot-11, 155-pounder committed on his official visit this past weekend over numerous other offers.
"I committed to Syracuse last night," he said. "I committed to my position coach and then I had an individual meeting with Coach Marrone today. The coaches were very excited and they made me feel good."

What about Syracuse impressed Peterman?
"I'd probably say the campus, it's nice and similar to where I come from in the Youngstown area," he said. "They have a tremendous business school, it's incredible. That's what I'm trying to major in and the classrooms are like business offices. The administrators made me feel at home too.
"As for the program, they have great facilities. The Carrier Dome is amazing. We went to a basketball game and it was only half filled and they were screaming. I can't imagine it being filled completely."
The No. 41 prospect in Ohio also touched on the new staff at Syracuse.
"The new staff made me feel at home," he said. "I think they are going to turn the program around and they are going to handle business and be tough in the Big East."
Peterman was recruited as a cornerback.
"The coaches have already told me it's a whole new staff and I'll have just as much of an opportunity as the guys last year," he said. "They'll only have 15 more practices then me. If I work hard I have an opportunity to play as a freshman."
Peterman held offers from numerous other schools including Wisconsin, Ohio, Akron, Western Michigan, Bowling Green and more.
