Perry thinking about another Big 12 team

Another offer has come for La Marque, Texas wide receiver Jared Perry and it looks like another Big 12 visit is in the works for the three-star prospect to a school that could be on the verge of adding their name to the scholarship list.
Missouri, the constant leader for the 6-foot, 155-pound Perry, has gotten Perry to lock down the date of Jan. 13 for an official visit. Kansas will be receiving a trip as well on Jan. 6. However, since his teammate, Richard Jones, switched his commitment from the Tigers to Texas Tech, Perry may be thinking about the Red Raiders more.

"Well, Texas Tech hasn't offered, but Richard tells me a lot about them," Perry said. "From what I know, they're looking at me right now. Utah just offered so that's another school I'm thinking about visiting as well."
If Texas Tech were to offer, favorites may be shaken up. However, the Tigers still have a firm lead.
"They've been with me from the beginning," Perry said. "They came and targeted me way back when. I've been checking out their offense and they're going to have a sophomore quarterback that's really good."
Perry will not rush the process. He plans to take all of his official visits before he decides. Up next, is the second round of the playoffs.
"We played Bay City the first round and won pretty big," Perry said. "It was big, but at half time we were only up by a touchdown, so we had to open it up to get passed that team."
"It was good execution. We just had to realize that we could score at will, so we did."
