Perry gets very busy with official visits

January visits were supposed to be the plan for La Marque, Texas three-star wide receiver Jared Perry but the 6-foot, 155-pound prospect is waiting on some offers and shifting up his schedule.
Originally Missouri and Kansas were supposed to be in January, but it appears the Tigers are now going to be getting their official visit a lot sooner.

"I'm going to Missouri this weekend now (Dec. 9)," Perry said. "Then, I've got Utah set for the next weekend (Dec. 16) now. Kansas is still on Jan. 6 and TCU looks like it's going to be on Jan. 20."
With the Missouri visit getting shifted up, there has been no change on his feelings about the leading team in this recruiting process.
"Missouri is still my favorite," Perry said. "I just like the coaches there that have been recruiting me all this time. I also like the quarterback (Chase Daniel) coming back there. I know they're going to throw the ball."
"Plus I'll know a player from La Marque with Domonique Johnson being there."
The reason for the shift in visits is because Perry's team lost in last week's round of the state playoffs.
"We played Brenham and we just didn't come through at the end," Perry said. "We were getting beat at halftime and then we came back in the fourth quarter. Then they came back and won by 10. It was a good game. Since we lost, there wasn't anything to do so I thought I'd push up these trips."
Perry says he's also looking at Texas Tech and Colorado now for remaining visits.
