Perry favors Big 10 squad

Jackson Perry continues to load up on offers but a few stand out to the Las Vegas (Nev.) Bishop Gorman lineman and one from the Big 10 probably looks the best in his recruitment.
"Right now, it's Nebraska, Harvard, Yale, Columbia, Colorado State, Utah State and I'm trying to bring in some more," Perry said. "I'm trying to bring in some more but I'm really thinking about Nebraska, Harvard, Yale and Columbia."

The 6-foot-2, 275-pound three-star prospect shined at offensive guard and especially defensive tackle in Bishop Gorman's victory over Anaheim (Calif.) Servite this past weekend.
Perry said he's probably not going to take any official visits until after his senior season but he's definitely taking a serious look at the Huskers and could make a decision even before taking any trips.
"Not only is it a huge program but I love the coaching staff and the way they do things," Perry said. "They run the same offense as we do and we actually have a lot of their play system. I would go in there and pretty much know everything they do.
"Not only for the football but I'd be going there for the academics. People don't really know that it's actually a great academic school. They have the most academic All-Americans so that's really big."
The three-star is undecided about his decision timetable or if he'll take visits first before making a commitment.
Nebraska, which likes Perry as an offensive guard, looks good in his recruitment but the Gorman standout isn't sure about how he's going to handle his recruitment moving forward. And those Ivy League teams are lurking as well.
"I'm not absolutely sure about when I'm going to decide but I think I'm going to take all my official visits after the season," Perry said. "I may think about committing early before I take my officials but I'm not really sure right now."
