Perry amazed by attention

David Perry is one of a few top end defensive end prospects from south Florida. Perry, from Ft. Lauderdale (Fla.) University School, is amazed at all the attention he has received, especially from the college coaches.
"I have twenty plus scholarship offers," Perry said. "But honestly, I never thought it would be like this. So of my new scholarship offers are from teams like Tulane and LSU. All the Florida schools have offered me; FSU, Miami, Florida, Central Florida and South Florida."

So far Perry has seen some in-state schools. He will get back on the road this summer.
"I checked out Central and South Florida. I also went to FSU and Florida. They were all good visits. The campuses at Florida and FSU are so big. I also liked it at UCF and USF.
"Right now I am open with everyone. I am going to a few camps this summer but not 100% sure on which ones just yet. I do know that I will go to two. I am considering Florida, LSU and USF. There are so many camps out there that I am just not sure yet."
Perry, 6-6 and 230 pounds, recorded 47 tackles and eight sacks as a junior.
