Perez names three

Camden (N.J.) Woodrow Wilson safety Antwine Perez expected to narrow down his list of schools to five by the end of August and set up all of his official visits. He planned on making his decision and announcement in December so he could enroll early at the school of his choice. That timetable has been moved up and Perez has named his final three schools. Who are they and when will he decide?
"I just felt so comfortable with my final three schools that I can narrow it down now," said the 6-foot-1, 199-pounder. "I thought it would be harder, but these three schools have really stood out far and above everyone else."

And the three schools are?
"Southern Cal, Michigan and LSU," said Perez. "Southern Cal is a great program and I've known coach McNair for a long time now since he's friends with my coach. Michigan has great coaches and I really like coach Stripling who's recruiting me. They also produce top defensive backs."
And LSU?
"Coach Malloy is awesome," he said. "He came to the east coast just to recruit me basically. He said I'm at the top of their board and I really hit it off with him. All three schools just made me feel wanted and comfortable."
Perez has all three official visits scheduled as well.
"I'm going to Southern Cal on September 16 when they play Arkansas. I'm going to LSU the weekend after that (Sept. 23) when they play Tennessee and I start off with Michigan on Sept. 2 when they play Northern Illinois. I want to get the visits out of the way early so I can focus on my season and the games down the stretch. I might still wait for awhile to commit because there's no rush or I might decide in October. Those are the final three schools though."
Perez is ranked as the No. 3 safety in the country and the No. 35 player overall. He is the No. 2 player in the state of New Jersey.
