Pentello looking at the Big Ten

Westerville (Ohio) South quarterback Rocco Pentello has an MAC scholarship offer, but says he also wants to take a look at a number of Big Ten schools among others.
"Toledo is my only offer right now," Pentello said. "I want to look at Michigan State, Iowa, maybe Holy Cross, and Georgia Tech.

"I'm going to Ohio State's one-day camp (today). Wisconsin, Michigan, and Florida State are schools I'm considering. West Virginia is another one."
The 6-foot-0 and 188-pound Pentello is a fine athlete who has played mostly quarterback for South, but has played some in the secondary too.
"Some schools are recruiting me as a defensive back," Pentello said. "Some say 'athlete.' Wisconsin says they would try me at quarterback, then wide receiver, then defensive back."
Pentello passed for over 2200 yards during his junior season and rushed for close to 900. He accounted for 36 touchdowns either passing or rushing.
Pentello hopes to use the summer to take a look at some of the schools on his list.
"I'm not close to committing to Toledo," he said. "I still have the whole summer."
