Penson down to two
Lufkin, Texas linebacker A.J. Penson is ready for his third official visit this upcoming weekend for North Texas.
Penson, who's already visited Texas State and Houston, says while he's getting closer to a final decision, it still looks like it will be Signing Day when he commits.

"Texas State and North Texas are really the two schools I'm down to," Penson said. "I haven't heard much from other schools. Houston is full, so I guess they're out of it now."
His visit to Texas State was this past weekend. Penson said that he really enjoyed his time there and liked how close it was to home.
"I like that it's right there in between Austin and San Antonio," Penson said. "It was a good visit and the coaches treated me really well."
Penson says he's looking forward to his upcoming trip to see the Mean Green. However, he'd like to wait until the end to make a decision.
"I'm not going to commit yet, I'm just going to wait until Signing Day," he said.
