Pennsylvanias dynamic duo all done

Two of the best players in the state of Pennsylvania have decided to end the recruiting process and stick with a commitment they made recently.
Two of NC State's top recruits have cancelled their visits to all other schools. Running back Darrell Blackman and defensive end Ray Brooks have decided to close the recruiting process.

"We just decided to cancel the rest of our visits," said the 6-foot-1, 185-pound Blackman. "After a little while we thought about it and decided to just go to NC State without taking any other visits. That's where we'll be, and we're not thinking about any other schools."
The Williamsport (Pa.) Williamsport Area duo committed to the Pack a week ago and were considered "soft verbals", because they were still planning on taking official visits to Maryland (Dec. 13) and possible a couple other places.
"We were going to Maryland but there's not really a point to doing that and we would have been making other teams thinking that they still had a chance."
Blackman and Brooks had already visited Iowa and Pitt in November before they made the trip to Raleigh on Dec. 6, after which the duo committed. The two can now be considered "solid" for Chuck Amato and the Pack, who are quickly putting together one of the nation's top recruiting classes.
