Pennsylvania star has leaders

Erie (Pa.) Strong Vincent star Maurice Williams is an outstanding prospect on both sides of the ball. There is no question about Williams' talent, the question is where he will use it in college.
"I could play wide receiver, quarterback, or defensive back in college," Williams said. "It will be one of those three. Any of them is O.K."

The 6-foot-3 and 190-pounder did it all during his junior season.
Williams completed 44 of 92 passes for 1193 yards and 11 touchdowns. Williams also rushed for 442 yards and nine touchdowns.
On defense Williams made 30 solo tackles, had 29 assists, and intercepted three passes.
Many recruiters are hoping Williams brings his talents to their school.
"I have offers from Pitt, Syracuse, West Virginia, Maryland, Connecticut, and Kent State," Williams said. "I visited Pitt and West Virginia. I'm supposed to go to Connecticut sometime soon."
Williams is also interested in at least a couple schools that have yet to offer, but are showing interest.
"I'm looking at Penn State, Georgia Tech, there's some more too," he said.
But two schools have the early lead.
"I have a couple favorites," Williams said. "Pitt and West Virginia. I've been to both of them and seen their facilities. That gives them the edge so far."
