Pennsylvania safety impressed by Pitt

Rasaan Stewart probably didn't need much convincing heading into his recent trip to Pittsburgh. He's had a lot of respect for the future ACC program for a while.
But the 6-foot-0, 178 pound safety from Collegeville (Pa.) Perkiomen Valley was especially impressed with everything the Panthers showed him recently on a trip to the school.

"I was definitely impressed with Pitt," Stewart said. "I liked their campus and thought it was very nice. I liked the facilities and everything. The coaching staff and everything there was great. I felt really comfortable."
That does not mean that Pitt is Stewart's favorite, even though the Panthers have offered.
"I feel like it's too early to tell. It's just the beginning of the process," he said.
Buffalo became the first school to offer Stewart about a month ago. Pitt offered last Thursday and Temple offered him on Tuesday.
He has visited Temple, Villanova and Massachusetts in addition to Pittsburgh.
"Villanova is the one that's been on me since before any other colleges were noticing me. I also talked to an Old Dominion [coach] and he said that he has to talk to their head coach but they're on the verge of offering me. Boston College, I've had contact with them, but I haven't heard much about an offer."
