Pennsylvania QB looking into visits

It's been a slow month for Vandergrift (Pa.) Kiski Area School quarterback Josh Vick. That doesn't mean recruiting is at a standstill for the 6-foot-3, 200-pounder as he is starting to consider visits.
"It's slow now," he said. "A lot of schools want to see my senior film, once they see that they can make a decision and know for sure everything is ok with my knee. A few of the schools waiting are Pittsburgh, Northwestern and Penn State."

Vick believes he'll be headed to a few games this season.
"I'm sure I'll go up to a couple Pittsburgh and Penn State games," he stated. "I think I'm going to the Penn State-Wisconsin game."
In the meantime, Vick holds one scholarship from Akron. Does he have a leader?
"It's too hard to say," he said. "I'm concentrating on the season and it'll work itself out."
The season kicks off on Friday for the two-star prospect.
"We have done well in scrimmages and I felt good," he said. "We've got a good passing game and made some big plays. The receivers are making my job pretty easy.
"I think this team is much better. A lot of guys are more mature and we're starting to gel together. I definitely feel pretty good about this season."
