Pennsylvania LB favors three schools

As the months have gone by Pennsylvania linebacker Corey Majors has started to get a better picture of the recruiting process as well as what he's looking for in the school he will ultimately end up attending.
The 6-foot-1, 230-pound rising senior from Langhorne (Pa.) Neshaminy is focusing most of his attention on three schools, all of whom have offered.

"Right now my favorites are Minnesota, Villanova and Temple," Majors said early this week.
"I've looked at Minnesota and I like their defense. I like how they use their linebackers. They've had a lot of good linebackers come out of there. I was looking at that, and also it's a program that's starting to get it turned back around. I'm looking up a bunch of information on them and I haven't seen anything I don't like.
"Temple and Villanova both have things in common. I've met with the coaches and I like the coaching staffs at both schools. They're talking about what I'd be doing, obviously playing linebacker, but also talking about my potential. Then the fact that they're local helps."
Majors has taken visits to Temple and Villanova but he has not been out to Minnesota yet. He said he will probably take a visit, either an unofficial soon or an official later in the fall, and make his decision shortly after he sees that school in person.
"They're all pretty much even for now, though," he noted.
The only camp Majors has attended this summer was a camp at Villanova.
Majors is a three-star prospect and ranked the No. 27 rising senior in Pennsylvania from the Class of 2011.
