Pennsylvania athlete talks in-state schools

Jeannette, Pa., athlete Demetrious Cox is one of the most coveted junior prospects in the state so it should come as no surprise that Pitt and Penn State have labeled him a priority recruit.
Cox recently took a visit to Pitt and had high praise for the school after returning home.

"I was at Pitt for a junior day and it was good. The coaches really made me feel like I was at home. They were talking about some of the new stuff they have going on and the remodeling," he explained.
The 6-foot-1, 185-pound athlete will soon take a trip to the other major in-state program.
"On (March) 27, I'm going to Penn State," he continued. "Other than that I don't have any set dates yet for spring practices or anything like that. I think it's a junior day at Penn State."
Cox has offers from both in state schools plus Michigan State and West Virginia.
While schools will be pressuring him between now and the time when he makes his choice, Cox doesn't think he's the kind of guy that will make an early decision.
"I think I'm going to wait it out," he said. "I don't have any leaders."
