Penn State recruiting in-state DB

Defensive back Okezie Alozie of Bethlehem (Pa.) Freedom has been patient over the last few months, as he continued to wait for more offers. Now with National Signing Day quickly approaching, recruiting has really begun to pick up for Alozie, including new interest from Penn State.
"Recruiting is going great," said Alozie, who is 6-foot-0 and 200-pounds. "I'm visiting Buffalo this weekend and then I'm fitting in Penn State, Temple and Akron into the last two weeks."

To this point, Alozie has already taken official visits to Villanova and Elon.
"I was at Villanova the weekend of December 9th and Elon the weekend of January 6th," said Alozie. "They both went well. I really liked Elon."
After Buffalo this weekend, Alozie has Temple scheduled for the weekend of January 20th. His final visit is still up in the air.
"I haven't made the last visit final," said Alozie, who picked up recent offers from Maine, New Hampshire and The Citadel. "It might be Akron or Penn State."
The Nittany Lions are relatively new into the picture.
"Well the new staff is evaluating me currently," said Alozie. "Coach Vanderlinden has been in touch. Coach Vanderlinden said that he definitely wants to take a look at me and he will call me next week to let me know what's going on."
On the field this fall, Alozie was named 1st Team All-Conference and 1st Team All-Area at defensive back.
