Penn State offers Brunetti

Barry Brunetti is now the top rated dual threat quarterback in the country. Brunetti, 6-0 and 215 pounds, is from Memphis (Tenn.) University School. Today, he received a huge scholarship offer and Brunetti didn't hold back his enthusiasm.
"Penn State came by the school today and they offered me," Brunetti said. "It was Jay Paterno. First he met with my coach for a while and then said an offer would be sent to me the minute he got back to his office.

"I love this one and I never expected it. This is a big one for me. I will have the opportunity to play for the legend Joe Paterno. I know all about him and Penn State football. I love the tradition. They have a diversified offense and I think I fit in perfectly. I just love the way they use their quarterbacks."
Brunetti hasn't been to Happy Valley yet. But he plans on visiting them next month.
"I will go up there to camp in June (26th, 27th) and take an unofficial. I can't wait to see that place."
Brunetti also plans on camping at Memphis and Ole Miss and possibly Mississippi State.
Teams could be added to his camp and visit list this summer, depending on what happens over the next few weeks with the May Evaluation Period. Ohio State is coming by on Friday and Virginia Tech is coming to see Brunetti next week.
Brunetti now has scholarship offers from Penn State, Mississippi State, Duke, Memphis, Tulsa, and Marshall.
