Penn State latest offer for 2016 Tenn. ATH

Class of 2016 Nashville (Tenn.) Father Ryan athlete JoeJuan Williams added Big Five offer to his list on Monday night when Penn State added to his list.
"It's a great school with great athletics," the 6-foot-2, 205-pound prospect said. "I know the coaching staff very well and they know me well so I'm excited."

Being from the Nashville area Williams is more than familiar with the Nittany Lions coaches from their time at Vanderbilt. His primary recruiter is Penn State assistant Bob Shoop, whose sons are classmates of Williams.
"I've known Coach Shoop ever since I was a freshman," Williams said. "We have a great relationship and we talk a lot. His sons go to my school so I have a great friendship with them also."
With plenty of distance between Happy Valley and Nashville, Williams said he doubts he'll be able to make it up to a game this fall. But he did say Penn State might be in the mix for an official visit down the road.
"I probably won't make it up for a game this year but when my senior year comes I'll probably go there for an official visit."
