"I committed to Penn State," Tim Shaw said. "I just felt like overall it was the best place for me."
"I laid everything out and felt like the best place was Penn State. Michigan State was second."

Shaw, 6-foot-1 and 217 pounds, rushed for 2600 yards for Livonia (Mich.) Clarenceville.
Shaw made official visits to Penn State, Michigan State, Michigan, Stanford, and Boston College and all five offered a scholarship.
