Penn State calls Florida safety

Jacksonville (Fla.) Mandarin two-star safety C.J. Hirschman was leaning heavily toward Stanford before Christmas, but things have definitely changed now.
Hirschman said “things didn’t work out with Stanford,” and now he’s shifted his focus to a new set of teams.

“Middle Tennessee is the only one that I have an official visit set in stone with,” he said. “I’m going up there on January 23. Penn State also just called me today. They said they had two other safeties they offered and both have committed to other schools. I’m sending film up there right away.”
FAU and UCF are also another school that has caught his attention lately.
“UCF wasn’t recruiting me with the old staff,” he said. “But the new coaches got there and called me the first day that they could.”
