Pena, Watson postpone official visit

A couple of JUCO defensive line prospects from Brooklyn (N.Y.) ASA College were scheduled to take an official visit to Miami-OH last weekend but they did not make the trip.
Defensive tackle Gilbert Pena and defensive end Keith Watson teamed up this year to give ASA College a formidable defensive line, and now FBS schools are taking interest in the duo.

Pena, at 6-foot-4 and 315-pounds, has taken an official visit to North Carolina and will be going to Ole Miss in one week. He has offers from those two schools as well as Miami-OH, Syracuse and Kansas State.
At 6-foot-1 and 255-pounds, Watson led the team in tackles this year, though he is less sure of his offer situation. He said he doesn't know whether he has a formal offer from Miami-OH at this time, and he will need to get out to the school to check his status with the RedHawks.
"We didn't end up going there this past weekend," Watson said, speaking for himself and Pena. "I was talking to my coaches and we got the dates mixed up and just never confirmed it. I know they want me and (Pena) to take a visit. I'm just waiting to see when we can get there because I would definitely like to visit."
Watson has offers from Alcorn State and Central Connecticut, as well as some interest from Baylor and San Jose State. He doesn't have any favorites yet.
"I'm looking for any school out there. I don't have a particular school in mind," Watson said.
Pena will be taking an official visit to Ole Miss the weekend of December 4. Until recently he said he does not have a favorite but now North Carolina appears to be in a very strong position after his official visit to Chapel Hill not too long ago.
