Three-star offensive tackle Christian Pellage of Brooksville (Fla.) Nature Coast holds more than 20 offers and said he's close to narrowing down his choices as he heads into his senior season. The 6-foot-6, 291-pound Pellage said he plans on announcing his finalists soon.
"I'm going to put out a top five or six toward the end of the summer," he said. "I'm going to discuss it with my parents."
Pellage was recently attended camps at Florida State and USF - both schools which have offered. He'll close out his offseason camp tour at South Carolina at the end of the month.
"I've been to South Carolina before for junior day, but I haven't had a chance to work with the coaches yet," he said. "I want to see how we work together."
At Florida State camp last week, he was eager to show the Seminoles coaching staffs the strides he's made since his visited camp a year ago.
"I want to show them I've improved from them teaching me," he said. "I was a defensive end but switched to offensive line last season. It's different, but I enjoy it."
Of Pellage's seven offseason camp visits, he listed Florida State, Alabama, Auburn and Miami as those that stood out the most. Of that group, only Auburn has yet to offer.
He said the coaching staffs at Alabama, Florida, Florida State and South Carolina are those he's most familiar with.
