Peele still torn

It seemed so simple a few months back when Fresno (Calif.) Edison defensive back Robert Peele committed to USC. Peele said USC was his dream school and committed on the spot after being offered. A lot has changed since then and with just a few days left before signing day, the talented cornerback still doesn't know where he's going.
After Peele committed to the Trojans, he said he still wanted to take a visit to Cal. Following his visit to Berkeley, Peele said the Bears were his new leader and USC decided to go in a different direction. It seemed like a formality before Peele would end the process and commit to Cal and even wore a Bears hat all week during the CaliFlorida Bowl.

Peele then visited Arizona two weeks ago and loved his time in Tucson. In fact, the Cats moved way up on his list and following a home from coach (Mark) Stoops earlier in the week, we heard rumors that the athlete was on the verge of announcing for UA.
"He's still really torn," Peele's father Robert Sr. said. "After Arizona came in here, I think he might have been leaning in that direction just a little. Then Cal came to the school and spent a lot of time with him and I think Cal might have gotten back on top.
"Then we hear that the (Chris) Richards kid de-committed from Michigan to Cal and we weren't sure where that left Robert. In fact, that was a big factor for us and it made Arizona look all the more better. We talked last night after his basketball game and he genuinely doesn't know what he's going to do. Then this morning, I heard Richards is back to Michigan. It has just been a crazy process and one I never thought would be this drawn out.
"I know they're doing something at the school on Signing Day for all the players but I really hope Robert decides before then. If he waits until the last minute that will just be a lot of pressure on him so hopefully he decides in the next few days. I honestly have no idea what he's going to do."
