Peele makes signing day decision
How confused was Fresno (Calif.) Edison defensive back Robert Peele? His defensive back coach Tony Perry and head coach Tim McDonald all thought he was headed to Arizona but it was Cal who received his faxed letter of intent this morning.
"I'm actually shocked right now," Perry said. "This whole deal has been wild around here. Robert has been tough to read but the last time Tim and I talked to him, he was leaning to Arizona.

"I just got to the school and I found out he had signed with Cal. I don't even think Tim knows. He went back and forth and thought Arizona was the best fit but he said he just woke up this morning and went with his gut and his gut was telling him Cal."
Peele also visited USC in addition to the two other Pac 10 schools.
