Peele getting closer

Fresno (Calif.) Edison defensive back Robert Peele has just one last home visit before he makes his final decision. The talented cover corner is down to Cal and Arizona.

Peele took official visits to both Pac 10 schools and said he should be ready to make his decision next week.

"Coach (Mark) Stoops is coming over on Monday, that will be my last home visit," Peele said. "He's the DB coach there so I'm interested in talking to him and seeing what I can learn from him. I have a really good relationship already with Cal's DB coach, coach Williams so I'm interested to see how I get along with him.

"Right now, Cal is still my leader but it's close. I really liked Arizona a lot. I tripped there a few weeks ago and they gave me a lot to think about. Cal is closer to home and I have a lot friends on the team. Arizona is building something there and I like how the intense those coaches are. Hopefully I'll be ready to decide by the end of next week but if not, I'll just wait until Signing Day."
