Pearman still a UVA commitment

Charlotte (N.C.) Providence running back Andrew Pearman was a solid commitment to UVA until the recent departure of Kevin Ross. Is his still UVA bound?
"I still favor Virginia and you could say I'm a soft commitment, but I'm taking a look around because coach Ross left," said the 5-foot-9, 163-pounder. "I'm going to South Carolina, Army, Virginia and Hawaii."

Pearman will be quite busy over the next few weeks.
"I go to Army this weekend (Jan. 16), then I go to South Carolina on Monday (Jan. 19), then Virginia next Friday (Jan. 23) and Hawaii the following Friday (Jan. 30)," he said. "It will be busy, but I owe it to myself to look around."
How much does he favor UVA?
"They are still my favorite by a lot," he said. "I just need to look around and see what else could be a better fit or if UVA is right for me."
Army not only hired away Kevin Ross, but they also hired Pearman's head coach at Providence HS, Bruce Hardin.
"That won't affect me though," he said. "I like coach Ross and coach Hardin, but I won't pick a school because of that. It's an important decision and I need to weigh all options."
