Charlotte (N.C.) Providence running back Andrew Pearman has been subject of commitment rumors since the weekend. Pearman, who originally gave Virginia a verbal commitment, re-opened his recruitment in January. Has Pearman committed?
"I have committed to Hawaii," said the 5-foot-9, 163 pound running back who runs the 40-yard dash in 4.3 seconds.
Is this Pearman's final decision?
"Yes, I loved it out in Hawaii. I felt very comfortable with the coaches, players, and the academic staff. I considered all of the schools until I made my final decision, but Hawaii just felt right. I am relieved that the process is over and I am happy with my decision.
Pearman, a three-star prospect, is rated the No. 11 all-purpose back in the country. He selected Hawaii over offers from Virginia, South Carolina, Wake Forest, and Army.
