Pearman enjoying Hawaii visit

All-purpose back Andrew Pearman was once a verbal commitment for Virginia. He decided to take a little more time to think things over, and now he's in Hawaii on an official visit.
The 5-foot-9, 163-pound back from Charlotte (N.C.) Providence runs the 40-yard dash in 4.3 seconds and he'll provide a spark to whatever team he joins next year. How is his trip to Hawaii going?

"Andrew will be back home tomorrow morning at around 7:30," said his mother Aidee Pearman. "He's having a great time up there. He was really excited about going out there, and he's been really impressed with everything he's seen so far."
There have been rumors that Pearman may have committed to the Warriors on his visit. Is there any truth to that?
"No, I've heard all that, and it's just a rumor," his mother laughed. "We decided that he wouldn't make his decision until he's come back home and compared all his favorite schools. I know that he's not committed to Hawaii. He'll make a decision in the next few days, once he's back home."
Pearman is a 3-star prospect and is rated the No. 11 all-purpose back in the nation.
