Peach WR commits to Duke
Atlanta (Ga.) Douglass wide receiver Corey Thompson is headed to the ACC for his college career.
“I’ve committed to Duke,” he said. “It came down to Duke and Marshall, and Duke just felt like the better fit for me. They made me feel like I was more of a need, and I liked the way I fit in around their coaches and players.

"The academics are nice, but that wasn't the main thing with me. I knew I'd be able to get a good education no matter where I went. That's just the way I am."
He also had offers from Wake Forest and Wisconsin. He visited the Demon Deacons in December.
As a senior, Thompson had 46 receptions for more than 800 yards and seven touchdowns.
