Tyler Medlin continues to get regular calls from a handful of
programs.
"The most positive are UAB, Middle Tennessee and
Appy State, but I'm still getting some interest from South Carolina, Georgia
and Clemson," he said. "They've all pretty much said that they're looking at
film on me right now and will try to get back in touch with me soon."
Medlin (6-4, 300, 5.3), one of the top-rated
offensive
guards in the South, says his favorites are Georgia and South
Carolina, but he's keeping an open mind to all opportunities.
"I'm kind of playing it by ear right now," he said.
"I don't want to count anyone out until I see who all will offer. But all of
these have some good things about them. UAB and Middle Tennessee may be a
good chance to go somewhere and make an early impact. They've got good
programs, good coaching staffs."
Medlin attended South Carolina's game against
Georgia on Sept. 14. He hasn't made any trips since that time, but hopes to
schedule a couple more.
