Peach State DT talks top five

Three-star Decatur (Ga.) Southwest Dekalb defensive tackle Frank Morton has put together a tremendous senior season and could see his stock rise as his recruitment enters the official visit stage.
“I’ve had 110 tackles, 58 solo, 18 tackles for loss and nine sacks,” he said. “That’s pretty good for a defensive tackle, isn’t it?”

No doubt about that.
And that’s why Morton (6-4, 280, 4.85) has schools like Auburn, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Ohio State, Oklahoma State, Tennessee, Louisville, Maryland, North Carolina, N.C. State and Tulane showing heavy interest.
He says all but Ohio State and Georgia have made scholarship offers.
“My top five right now would be Ohio State, Oklahoma State, Florida, Auburn and Arkansas,” he said. “But that’s not final. I can’t speak on a favorite or anything. I’m still listening to everybody.
“I’d like to visit Ohio State again and Auburn. Probably down to New Orleans and Tulane, too. But I haven’t set those up yet.”
Morton carries an added bonus in that he already projects as a qualifier with a 2.9 GPA and a 900 on the SAT.
