Now he’s ready to start taking official vistis.

“I’ve got four that I’m looking at right now,” he said. “I’ve set one up for Mississippi State on Jan. 16, and I’ve got one for Memphis on Jan. 23. Louisville and Georgia Southern are the other two I’m thinking about, but I don’t have dates for those right now.
“My top two are Mississippi State and Memphis. They’ve both sent coaches down here to talk to me, and I like how they tell me I could fit into their offense. Mississippi State has a new coach (Sylvester Croom) coming in who is a running backs coach in the NFL, and I hear a lot of people say he’s going to do big things there. They’re going to have two seniors next year at my position, then the depth chart looks really good for me.
“With Memphis, I like what they did with DeAngelo Williams. He was one of the nation’s leading rushers, and they had a real high-scoring offense. He’ll probably go pro after next year, and they tell me that I could be ready to step in and fit their offense the same way he did.”
Hyde (5-10, 193, 4.46) also has offers from Clemson, Kentucky and Middle Tennessee, but says he won’t likely take all five official visits.
