Peach OL adds Nebraska late

A new school is making a late push to get in the mix for three-star Lovejoy (Ga.) offensive lineman Anthony Parker.
“I’ve scheduled an official visit for Nebraska this weekend,” he said. “They just hired coach Blake, who was recruiting me at Mississippi State, and he’s wanting me to come out there and see things. I like him a lot, and Nebraska has great football tradition, especially when you look at the offensive linemen they’ve had.

“I’ve visited the SEC (Tennessee), the ACC (Maryland and N.C. State) and the Big Ten (Indiana) already, so I’m looking forward to seeing what one of the best schools in the Big 12 is like.”
Parker (6-4, 290, 4.7) just came off an official visit to Tennessee this past weekend.
“It was nice,” he said. “I liked it a lot. There weren’t really any surprises or one thing that stood out for me, but overall it was great. I liked the players and coaches and the overall atmosphere they have.
“I have N.C. State, Tennessee and Maryland at the top of my list right now. They’re all even. I’ll wait to see Nebraska before I make my final decision.”
