Paul knows official visit destinations

Lakeland (Fla.) Kathleen linebacker Gionni Paul has sorted through more than a dozen offers and narrowed his list to a select few. This weekend the three-star defender will hit the road for his first official visit.
"I am going to the University of Louisville this weekend," Paul said.

The 6-foot, 210-pound linebacker is looking forward to spending time with the Cardinals' head coach, who he has a high opinion of because of his contributions at his previous stop.
"I am looking forward to getting a chance to talk to Coach Charlie Strong. He is a good coach," Paul said. "He was really strong at Florida and I think he can do the same at Louisville. I am looking to see what they are all about and have some fun."
In addition to Louisville, Paul knows of a few other destinations for official visits.
"I know I want to go to Auburn, Tennessee, LSU, and my fifth one is up for grabs out of Michigan, Florida, USF, and West Virginia," Paul said.
At this point, those visits are to-be-determined according to Paul.
"I don't have dates for the other ones right now because they are all scrambled as I try to get everything worked out with homecoming and such," Paul said. "It is all jumbled right now."
With his focus narrowed on a select few schools, Paul is going into his official visits with an open mind.
"I am open as of right now," Paul said. "I have gone back and forth on some schools, but I don't really have a leader."
Rivals.com's No. 67 ranked prospect in the Sunshine State intends to take his time with a decision.
"I might take it all the way to Signing Day. I am still deciding," Paul said. "Hopefully I can get it done soon. But I am not going to rush into anything."
Paul said he earned an 18 on the ACT and that combined with his GPA will allow him to be qualified.
