Patterson sets four visits

With four offers in hand, it's not a difficult process to figure out where Alachua (Fla.) Santa Fe wide receiver Melvin Patterson will be heading on his visits.
In the last couple of months, the three-star rated pass-catcher has gathered up offers from Florida, West Virginia, Iowa, and North Carolina State. He has his official visits set to those schools and is leaving the last spot open for Miami.

"I've got NC State set for Jan. 21, West Virginia will be Dec. 2, and Iowa is going to be sometime around Dec. 11," Patterson said. "Of course I've had Florida set up for some time for the last weekend in January."
The Hurricanes are showing interest and while his rehab continues to go well, he feels an offer may still come.
"They're waiting to see how I progress and that will probably end up being my fifth visit," Patterson said. "The rehab is going good. I'm running track this season and by the time I hit a college campus, I'll definitely be at full speed."
Patterson says he will take all visits before deciding.
"I would say I'll be committing two weeks before Signing Day," he said.
Patterson is rated as the No. 38 rated wide receiver in the country and the No. 77 overall prospect in the state of Florida.
