Patterson putting up huge numbers

Patrick Patterson is a four-star prospect and a member of the Rivals100. Patterson, 6-3 and 215 pounds, is from Macon (Miss.) Noxubee County High School, is having a monster senior season. His team plays D'Iberville this Saturday for the state title. They are 13-0. So far he has 73 receptions for over 1,300 yards and 19 scores.
"It's been an exciting year for me and our team," Patterson said. "Last season we made it all the way to the state championship game but lost. I didn't play because I was injured (high ankle sprain). That has me motivated even more. I can't wait."

At one time this season Patterson was committed to Mississippi State. He has since opened things back up. Still, Patterson was shocked that Bulldog coach Sylvester Croom resigned.
"I was very surprised. I actually like him a lot and thought he would have had at least one more year there, especially with the class they were bringing in. This kind of really blows things up for me. I will wait and see who they name and get to now those coaches. Right now I have no favorites."
Patterson has scheduled two official visits so far. He will trip to Auburn (1-9) and Southern Miss (1-16). Patterson also likes LSU, Ole Miss, Alabama, Arkansas and others. He attended one game this season (Auburn/Mississippi State).
