Patterson in no rush

Don'yeh Patterson continues to hear from new programs and the Compton (Calif.) Dominguez standout is in no rush so he's welcoming all the new interest.
The 6-foot-2, 192-pound three-star prospect said Boise State, Stanford and Oregon are the new teams reaching out and he's excited about all the new interest. No new offers have come in - Patterson is still at five - but things continue to pick up for him with new programs.

"They're recruiting me as an athlete so they just want to see a little bit more whether it's at camp or this season," Patterson said.
"I'll probably do a little bit of both, go to a few camps and then work a lot with my team. But I don't know of any camps that I'm definitely going to yet."
So far, the Compton Dominguez standout has been offered by Arizona, Colorado State, Idaho, San Jose State and Utah.
With so much new interest, Patterson, who looked good at the NLA 7on7 in Las Vegas earlier this spring, said he does not have any frontrunners yet but some should emerge by the start of his senior season at the latest.
Basically, the three-star wants to play out the summer to see if any other big programs get involved and then Patterson should have a better feel on which programs stand out.
"I don't really have any favorites right now," Patterson said.
"It's too early. By the end of the summer I should have a few favorites. I'm just waiting to see who else gets involved."
