Patterson has top five

Patrick Patterson is a big wide receiver prospect from Macon (Miss.) Noxubee County High School that's the No. 43 ranked prospect in the Rivals100. Patterson, 6-3 and 212 pounds, caught 72 passes for 1,424 yards last season as a junior. As a sophomore he caught 60 passes for 763 yards. Patterson also doubles as a cornerback, and a big one at that.
"I am the type of receiver that dominates in the air," Patterson said. "I go up and get it. I am a physical receiver with good hands. That's how I play defense too. I like contact."

According to Patterson he has scholarship offers from Mississippi State, Southern Miss, Ole Miss, Auburn and Arkansas. Those are the schools he has his sights set on as well.
"I like the direction the Mississippi State program is going. They are winning and becoming more competitive.
"Ole Miss has new coaches and I know I will be watching them closely this fall.
"I like coach (Larry) Fedora at USM. He has coached some very good receivers and I know they are going to throw the ball.
"Auburn is also going to throw the ball with their new coordinator and that's a school I am very interested in.
"Arkansas is a school that I like and that I am still trying to find out more about, especially with that new staff.
"Right now I am open to all these schools."
Patterson has been to Mississippi State, Ole Miss and Southern Miss. He's hoping to camp at Auburn this summer.
