"I had a real good time in Arizona," Patterson said. "Antoine Cason was my host and I've known him for a long time. He's from Long Beach and we ran against each other in track before we were in high school. He's a cool dude and showed me a great time all weekend.
"Friday was pretty casual. We ate as soon as we landed and then I just hung out with Antoine and his place and played Play Station 2 most of the night. We played a lot of Play Station all weekend but that's what we love to do so it was cool.
"Saturday we toured the campus and the football facilities and also went to the Arizona basketball game. That was real cool and I enjoyed myself a lot. It was fun watching the basketball team because they have one of the best teams in the country every year and they have great fan support at the games.
"After the game, we went back to Antoine's house for some more Play Station and then we went out that night and checked out some cool places. He basically showed me where the players hung out but we didn't go to any wild parties or anything. It was just some of the players hanging out together so it was all good.
"Sunday we ate breakfast and then had some good one on one time with the coaches. I talked a lot with Coach Stoops and Coach Williams, the receiver coach. They basically told me they needed a speed guy in their offense and said I would have a chance to play right away if I went there. Overall it was a great visit and I'm looking forward to my last visit to USC so I can make a decision here.
"I'm not exactly sure when I'll be deciding but I think I'll know a lot more after my trip this weekend to SC. Hopefully within a week of my trip I'll be able to make a decision but I'm not in any hurry, just whenever it feels right to me."
