Patterson enjoys visit to Oregon

Long Beach Poly (Calif.) wide out Travon Patterson took his first official visit this past weekend to Oregon and although he didn't give a commit to the coaches like his teammate Jurray Casey, the athlete said the Ducks are very high on his list.
Patterson, 5-8, 160 pounds is an explosive player and the best 'run after catch' receiver in the West region this year. He returned a kickoff 95 yards for a score for the Jackrabbits on Friday and then headed to Eugene the following day.

"A car came and got me at 4:40 and our flight left at 6:30," Patterson said. "Once we got to Eugene, we headed straight to the stadium for the game with Washington. I really had a great time and enjoyed watching the team play. Kellen (Clemens) completed 36 passes to 13 different receivers, I loved seeing that.
"They really spread the ball around there and get everyone involved. The crowd was rowdy from the beginning of the game to the end and were really die hard and vocal throughout. Jeremiah Johnson, who played at Dorsey last year, was my host and he showed me around a little. We had a curfew and didn't really go out that much but that was fine, I still had a great time."
Patterson said he still has a few more trips to take but Oregon is at the top of his list.

Cal is showing me a lot of interest lately, USC said they like me but they have a couple of other players rated a little higher and UCLA told my coach that when they see my first semester grades, they could offer after that. I want to take all five of my trips and then make my decision sometime in later January."Here to view this Link.
