Patterson down to three

Petal (Miss.) Rivals100 offensive guard Javon Patterson has had his top five for months now, but as he nears the end of his recruiting process he is now down to three.
Ole Miss, Auburn, and Mississippi State have been rewarded for their diligence and are the only three schools remaining as he prepares to a late November/early December commitment.

In the past Ole Miss and Auburn have been at the top of his list, but that is no longer the case.
"They're all even," Patterson said.
The Mississippi State Bulldogs have been playing catch-up to a long standing top two, but have now clawed their way to the top.
"Yeah they've always been recruiting me hard," Patterson said. "It's not because they're No. 1 or anything they've just made up some ground and I like the way things are going with their program."
Patterson has taken unofficial visits to Ole Miss, Auburn, and most recently Mississippi State. He plans to attend the Ole Miss/Auburn game this weekend and he is also looking to attend another game at Mississippi State.
He has not scheduled his official visits at this time, but he believes he will take them soon and only to his top three schools.
"Yeah I am I just don't have them planned out yet," Patterson said. "I'll probably take most of them in November."
Patterson is currently ranked No. 61 in the Rivals100, No. 3 among the nation's 2015 offensive guards, and No. 1 in the Rivals.com Mississippi Preseason Top 25.
