Patterson close to picking

Hazelwood (Mo.) Central three-star athlete/receiver Nick Patterson took his second official visit this past weekend to Missouri and with visits to both of his leader – Mizzou and Ohio State – already in the bag, could we see a commitment coming soon?

“I don’t know if I’m going to take my last visits,” Patterson said.

“I’ve already visited my top two schools. I liked what I saw at Ohio State, and then I got a chance to really compare that to Missouri this weekend. Missouri is only a hour and half away from my house and Ohio State is a little bit further from home. Ohio State is in the Big 10 and a great team already, and Missouri is in the Big 12 and trying to get to that championship level.

“I really don’t know what I’m going to do, but at this point, I’m going to think things over and I could have a decision by the end of this week. If I don’t, then I’ll probably go ahead and visit my last three schools.”

Those schools are Wisconsin, UCLA and Notre Dame. Patterson is ranked as the nation’s No. 26 athlete by Rivals.com.
