Pat Sheil has a leader

Clifton (Va.) Centreville offensive tackle/defensive end Pat Sheil had an impressive showing at the NIKE Camp in Charlottesville this past weekend. Sheil, one of the top players in Virginia, has seven scholarship offers. Sheil also has a leader. Who leads for the impressive two-way player?
“Virginia has a slight lead on the rest of the pack. I really enjoyed being down there this weekend. They have been recruiting me for a long time and I really like the balance of academics and a good football program. I have a good relationship with their coaches as well,” said the 6-foot-6, 270-pound two-way standout who runs the 40-yard dash in 5.0 seconds.

What schools have offered Sheil?
“I have offers from Virginia, Virginia Tech, Maryland, Syracuse, Army, Wake Forest, and Nebraska. Miami, Boston College, Penn State, Southern Cal, and Ohio State have been in contact with my coach, but they haven’t offered yet.”
What is up next for Sheil?
“I am heading down to Virginia Tech to visit this weekend. It is the weekend of their spring game and I am looking forward to comparing that trip with the trip to Virginia.”
Sheil said he will not wait until February to decide?
“I am pretty close to deciding right now. I want to make my decision before I start summer practices.”
