Paskorz likes everything on ND junior day
Rivals100 2007 linebacker Steve Paskorz out of Pittsburgh (Pa.) Hampton took a junior day visit to Notre Dame this past weekend. What did the 6-foot-0, 208-pounder with 4.6-second speed think of the Irish and South Bend?
"I loved everything up there," he said. "The whole trip was really well fashioned and the coaches and facilities are awesome. I got there and talked to my recruiter coach Latina and then watched some film and heard speeches by the athletic director and coach Weis. Then we toured the facilities and went to a basketball game.

"I really liked coach Weis. He's a real personable man and very good with his words. He's very convincing."
Where does the visit put Notre Dame for Paskorz?
"I'd say they are up there as one of my top schools," he said. "It seems like a really safe, comforting place to be. Everything about the trip was really nice."
Next up for Paskorz is a trip to Michigan's junior day on January 28th.
"I've already been up there for an open house. I've got some good chemistry with some of the assistant coaches," he said. "This time I really want to see the facilities and just check out more of the campus all around."
After that, the linebacker prospect is looking at heading to the Rivals.com Junior Day at Akron on Feb. 25.
Currently, Paskorz is favoring Michigan, Notre Dame, Penn State, Pittsburgh, West Virginia and Virginia.
"Those are primarily the schools I'm considering because they are local. I like all of them because they have great football tradition and many of them, specifically Virginia, Notre Dame and Michigan are also known for their academics. The other thing is that they all send a lot of players to the pros which is nice too."
