Harrisburg's Mikell Simpson is one of the top ten prospects in the state of Pennsylvania. The 6-foot-2 and 190 pound running back and defensive back rushed for 862 yards, averaged almost 10 yards per carry, and scored 21 times on the ground during his junior season.
Simpson also caught 23 passes and scored five times through the air while intercepting five passes on the other side of the ball. He was an all-conference selection on both sides of the ball.
"Right now I'm interested in everyone that's interested in me," Simpson said. "I'm wide open. I'll narrow it down later."
"I have offers from UCLA, Virginia, Wisconsin, Nebraska, Vanderbilt, West Virginia, Indiana, North Carolina, Michigan State, and Syracuse. Those are all written offers."
"I have four verbal offers, Ohio State, Rutgers, Notre Dame, and someone else I can't remember right now."
"Penn State is coming on as of late. I don't know what's going on with Pitt."
"I went to Pitt, Michigan, and Maryland for junior days."
"I'm looking at everything."
