PAs Lindsey plans to take first official

Three-star linebacker Brandon Lindsey out of Aliquippa, Pa. is now starting to focus on recruiting. The 6-foot-2, 220-pounder concluded his season last Friday night and is looking at starting to take official visits as soon as this weekend.
"Now I'm picking up on my visits," he said. "I think I'm probably going to take my official visit to Ohio State this weekend for their game against Michigan.

"I really want to see the hospitality there. I want them to show me a good time. From the coaches, I want them to show that they are interested in me and I'd like to see if there's a chance I'll play next year if I do end up going there. I'm also really excited for the game. I can't wait to see both teams compete. I just hope it's not a blowout."
Besides Ohio State, the three-star prospect is eyeing visits to West Virginia, Boston College and possibly Georgia Tech.
"All those schools are up in the air," he said. "I chose them because I think I've got a good chance of playing next year, but I've got to see who they are bringing in and what my chances are to compete."
Currently Lindsey maintains there are no favorites.
"I'm still pretty even between the schools right now," he said. "I want to go on all five official visits to check out the programs. Of those I listed, Georgia Tech is the only one that hasn't offered. They want me to come down for a visit and see the campus before they give me a scholarship."
Last week Lindsey and Aliquippa were bumped from the playoffs in a tough 19-14 loss.
"We played good at times and bad at times this season, but overall it was a good year," he said. "I can say that I picked it up a lot towards the end of the season. I made a lot more tackles and improved on running the ball. I finished with 90 tackles, eight sacks, one interception and three fumble recoveries. I also had 750 yards rushing and 11 touchdowns."
